Shop Review: "Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense vinous bouquet with hints of violets and deep cherry fruit. The flavor is full of ripe fruit and a hint of spice. It is well balanced and dry. The finish is persistent and satisfying."
My Review: Spicy, almost burnt or grilled scent paired with an earthy, dirty, floral bouquet. It's an interesting and fun combination on the nose. It kind of smells like an old antique shop with contrasting fresh flowers. Dry finish with a fruity aftertaste. It's a solid bottle of Chianti for amateurs to try it out.
Food: I did not have this with food.
