Shop Review: George Dubeouf is THE king of Beaujolais. His wines are full of pop, charm, and great flavor and his Beaujolais Nouveau is no exception. A cornucopia of expressive fruit wrapped in an almost-bubblegum-like frame; it is the flagship Nouveau.
My Review: Sweet fruity aromas on the nose similar to caramelized sugar. Also, strong floral notes mixed in the bouquet. Dry wine that has a pleasant acidity to it on the finish. Following decanting, this wine softens up and becomes exquisite to drink.
Food: I did not taste this with food.
